Ian Machado Garry and Shavkat Rakhmonov will lock horns in the UFC 310 co-main event in arguably the most anticipated matchup of the entire card. Both fighters will enter the octagon undefeated at 15-0 and 18-0, respectively, with a chance to fight for UFC gold on the table.
Machado Garry and Rakhmonov have previously sparred together during their time at Kill Cliff FC. Ahead of their fight, details of their sparring session having begun to emerge, with the Kazakh fighter claiming to have submitted his upcoming opponent.
There are other rumors that Rakhmonov knocked out 'The Future' during their sparring sessions. But as UFC 310 edges closer, the Irishman has extended a word of warning to his opponent not to take anything from their time training together.
The 27-year old recently appeared in front of the media and was asked about his sparring sessions with Rakhmonov. He responded:

"If he wants to latch onto a moment of success in training from two years ago and thinks I'm the same fighter I was then, then he would be sadly mistaken. I don't believe he is going to be latching on to anything like that. I believe he is being honest and he is saying this happened, which it did. But if I sit here and tell you the names I've gone out and beaten in sparring, it's just not relevant."

Chael Sonnen wonders if Shavkat Rakhmonov made Ian Machado Garry leave Kill Cliff FC
Kill Cliff FC is home to some of the best fighters in the world, including Gilbert Burns and Shavkat Rakhmonov. It also previously hosted Ian Machado Garry for a short time.
Ahead of their UFC 310 clash, former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen has speculated about whether or not Rakhmonov's presence at Kill Cliff FC forced the Irishman to look for a new training home.
Sonnen said this:
"I never understood why [Garry] left [Kill Cliff FC]... At 24 years old, completely undefeated... But, in this room, you're number five - just within the weight class. There's five guys in this practice room, in this weight class, that can beat you and do it on a daily basis."
He continued:
"The amount of headlines you garner, your social media and your followers, and the people that believe you are the man. When the four of us know you're not!' And just by example, is that why Ian left?"
